First, our cancer fundraiser was a big success - we donated $1312 EACH to The Breast Care Center at Mercy and the Southwest Women's Health Coalition. Thanks to all of you who cleaned in October and helped us be able to do this!

Now, our current special helps out another local nonprofit - Advocacy for La Plata, a program of the Women's Resource Center. AFLP works with at-risk families, helping them to weather these turbulent times with parenting support groups, life skills classes, and help locating affordable housing, food and community resources.
